TP Systems' AdoptionLynx Wins at VIATeC 2006 Technology Awards

Vancouver, BC, May 30, 2006 (TP Systems Ltd.) - TP Systems announced that its AdoptionLynx system was the recipient of the Innovative Excellence: Software or Electronic Service Delivery Award at the 2006 VIATeC Technology Awards Gala. Held annually in Victoria, the awards gala recognizes organizations that characterize innovation and excellence within the Vancouver Island technology community.

Working in partnership with the Ministry of Children and Family Development, TP Systems developed the Adoption Management System later named AdoptionLynx to streamline the entire adoption framework process. AdoptionLynx manages the registration, matching, and intake of adoptive children and prospective families; the tracking of exchange and post-adoption openness agreements; and the birth father, reunion and post-adoption assistance registry.

An innovative feature of AdoptionLynx is its Pseudo-matching Module. The module allows adoption workers to create what-if scenarios that provide information useful for increasing the likelihood of a successful match between a prospective adoptive family and a child in Ministry care.
